Overnight Oats

Ingredients: (per serve)

 2 tbs rolled oats

1 tbs chia seeds

2 tbs coconut yoghurt (or Greek yoghurt)

½ tbs honey

200ml milk of your choice

60-80g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

Method:

  •  Combine all ingredients except the berries into a suitable container or mason jar
  • Thoroughly mix all ingredients together, particularly the chia seeds and the honey
  • Add the berries and stir through
  • Place in the fridge and leave overnight
  • Give your oats a final stir just before eating and enjoy!

Some combination suggestions for you….

If you can eat nuts, adding a few chopped almonds is a great option as well as using almond milk as your milk of choice.

Try adding some sunflower seeds or pepitas for texture if you’re unable to eat nuts.

Our favourite combination of berries is strawberries and raspberries, but any berries are great.

Mango pieces are also yum mixed through instead of berries.

Stewed apples with some cinnamon is also a beautiful combination!

You could also leave out the fruit and add fresh fruit (like banana) just before you eat

The possibilities are endless!!
